Alongside supporting our members and advocating for the Pride movement in Europe, campaigning for change is a core purpose of the Association. You can read more about these campaigns on the following pages.
Poland
The LGBTI+ community in Poland is facing hostility unprecedented in recent times. At our 2019 Annual General Meeting, our members agreed that Poland should become a strategic focus for our work, and we have been working closely with Pride organisers across Poland since. Whilst our work has been delayed by the pandemic, our focus and contact with activists and organisers remains.

#PrideWithTheT
Trans people have been a part of the Pride movement from the start, and we wholly and unequivocally include trans people in everything that we do. We condemn those who seek to divide our community, and published the #PrideWithTheT statement on Trans Day of Visibility in 2019, signed by hundreds of Pride organisations, to show support.

Coronavirus
When the global pandemic took hold. EPOA led the international response by collating information on the impact of the pandemic on Pride organisations globally. We also – together with InterPride and national Pride organisations – hosted Global Pride.
