Today, Friday 18 September, Pride organisers and human rights organisations are coming together to organise close to 60 protests across Europe and beyond in solidarity with the LGBTI+ community in Türkiye.
These protests come in response to the crackdown last weekend, with Turkish authorities raiding organisations and homes, detaining LGBTI+ activists and human rights defenders, and blocking or restricting websites and social media accounts.
EPOA is joining protests in multiple cities across Europe today, standing alongside our members, partners and communities in solidarity with those targeted by this crackdown.
